About

Located just steps from the harbour and on the Fife Coastal Path, this pretty pink cottage is a category B listed building and although fully modernised internally much of the character and charm remains.

Suitable for up to four guests, this property offers flexible accommodation with two superking bedrooms which can be arranged as twins on request. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and with a further family bathroom.

The Cottage is as suited to friends, golfing groups and couples as it is to a family. Sitting towards the foot of the hill to the harbour, the entrance steps down into the hallway with a bright, well equipped dining kitchen to the left and cosy, comfortable lounge to the right. Off the stairs there is a landing where you will find a useful utility room and access to the rear garden.

On the first floor are the two spacious and bright bedrooms and the modern bathroom which has a shower over the bath. The terraced garden is fully enclosed and private and has several seating area where you can catch the morning and afternoon sun. Glimpses of the sea and the sound of waves and seabirds make this a tranquil, peaceful space to relax.

The Cottage by the Harbour is ideally positioned for experiencing some of the many delights that make the East Neuk a popular destination for holidays and short breaks. One of three local tidal pools is at the end of the adjacent street, maybe you fancy a refreshing dip or want to try out some watersports.

The coastal path which connects all of the East Neuk villages passes the front door and as well as a fine dining restaurant the village also has a café/wine bar and Smokehouse for freshly caught local seafood.

There are several festivals throughout the year celebrating the vibrant art and music scene in the area and a huge array of fine local food and drink from berries to beer and salmon to seaweed available to buy direct from the producer or at one of the great local places to eat and drink. Whether Michelin star restaurants or traditional fish and chips are your preference, you can enjoy it all in the East Neuk!
