What I do:
I’m passionate about Scotland’s wildlife and countryside so I reconnect people with the outdoors. I do this through birds of prey and archery experiences, fly-fishing lessons, falconry workshops and countryside retreats, all from our base near Crail in the beautiful East Neuk of Scotland.
Why I do what I do:
I’ve been a countryman all my working life. I believe everyone should know enough about nature to be able to enjoy it, appreciate it, protect it and benefit from it. Through learning about nature, we learn about ourselves; through protecting our ecosystems, we protect ourselves.
More about my business:
I established my original business Inspired Falconry in 2008 to inspire people to get more out of the outdoors through my own experience of the Scottish countryside. Now, under the name The Scottish Countryman, I offer exclusive bird of prey and archery experiences, fly-fishing lessons and countryside-themed workshops. My 5-star reviews talk about my passion and my excellent customer care and many of my clients have returned several times. You can read more about my story on my website.
Consultancy Service:
I use my many years of experience as an Estate Manager to offer a consultancy service to sporting estates across Scotland. I am renowned for my expertise in deer management and have proven knowledge of forestry, wildlife management and country sports.
