The Old Stables is a charming cottage, once home to the village plough horses on the lower level and the hayloft and groom’s accommodation on the upper level. Now transformed and finished to an extremely high standard, The Old Stables has two en-suite bedrooms and a sociable open plan layout to the living spaces making it ideal for a family or friends. Located just off the high street and close to all the independent village shops and amenities
The Old Stables is tucked away on a quiet lane. A short downhill stroll leads to the picturesque harbour and popular Fife Coastal Path. Entering through the bright porch where there is plenty space for walking boots, golf clubs and fishing nets to be stored, the living space extends across the first level.
Comfortable seating in the lounge area provides the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, or watch the world go by from the window seats. The extremely well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need for a self-catering stay and a dining table to gather around as you enjoy some of the fantastic local produce and recount the day’s adventures. With dual aspect windows and the glass balustrade which surrounds the stairs there is plenty of light reflected around the space.
