Puffin Cottage is a beautiful two bedroom traditional stone cottage within the conservation area of historic Crail in the stunning East Neuk of Fife and just 9 miles from St Andrews, home of golf and Scotland's oldest university.

The cottage is the perfect stay for couples, families, golfers, walkers, artists and anyone who comes to life in Fife! One dog welcome.

Once you arrive in Crail, the beaches, the harbour, Fife's famous coastal path, Crail Pottery,  shops and eateries are all just a short walk from Puffin Cottage's door and Crail Golfing Society is a 5 minute drive. 

Nearby Anstruther is a popular visitor spot, being the base for boat trips to the Isle of May and the fascinating Scottish Fisheries Museum. Other attractions include Cambo Gardens, Kingsbarns Distillery, Scotland's Secret Bunker and Kellie Castle to name a few. Enjoy a scenic drive (or take the 95 bus) along the coast to St Andrews to enjoy golf, museums, beaches, the aquarium, leisure facilities, shopping and restaurants.

Accommodation at Puffin Cottage is light, spacious and larger than average with two separate reception rooms, a large kitchen, two good sized bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower bath and an enclosed garden. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has been enjoyed by many guests over the years with a significant number choosing to return again and again.

From the storm porch, a door opens onto the entrance hall which has coat hooks, a shoe rack and useful storage space. The glazed door leads to the sitting room which has  2 seater and 3 seater sofas, a TV and DVD player and views to front and rear. The well equipped  kitchen holds a fridge, freezer, oven, hob and microwave. There's also a dishwasher and washing machine and seating for two people with views along Nethergate. The kitchen leads to a separate dining room seating 5 with doors to the pretty sunny garden which consists of raised beds, a patio with outdoor furniture and a palm tree!

Upstairs you'll find the first bedroom with a king bed, bedside tables, chests of drawers, a built in wardrobe and views to the front and side. Across the landing is the second bedroom containing a double bed and a single bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a wardrobe. This room has views to the front and rear. The bathroom has a built in basin and WC and a bath with overhead shower.

The cottage has central heating and WiFi.

A high chair and travel cot are available but please supply your own bedding.

The cottage has a selection of books, games and DVDs to be enjoyed by guests.
