The man-made reservoir is approx 3/4 of a mile long and up to 250yds wide, and was originally used to supply water to the surrounding area. No longer used for this purpose, the reservoir provides excellent natural feeding and this is reflected in the quality of the fish caught.
There is boat and bank fishing, with 6 boats and 25 bank angling spaces available.
The fishery is regularly stocked with Brown and Rainbow trout from 1 - 2 lbs although specimens of 6-8lbs are not uncommon.
Fly Fishing from the bank or boat, daily permit and membership available.
