Cupar Walks: Your Guide to Exploration

1. Riverside East, Tarvit Pond, and Tarvit Farm
- Distance: 3.8 miles
- Terrain: Varied roads, farm tracks, and good paths.
This circular route takes you through serene riverside paths, the historic Tarvit Pond, and Tarvit Home Farm. Marvel at the birdlife and enjoy a peaceful stroll.
2. Hawklaw, Foodieash, Cairnie, and Moonzie Kirk
- Distance: 9.5 miles
- Terrain: Country roads, farm tracks, and pavements.
Venture through rolling countryside to discover landmarks like Moonzie Kirk, built on a medieval chapel site, offering panoramic views.
3. Cairngreen Wood, Dairsie Den, and Kemback
- Distance: 9 miles
- Terrain: Tracks, minor roads, and pavements.
Explore woodland paths, historic bridges, and the charming countryside around Cupar.
4. Moathill, Elmwood College, and St Mary’s Farm
- Distance: 5 miles
- Terrain: Footpaths, roads, and farm tracks.
A scenic walk combining Cupar’s urban charm with rural landscapes, including views from Moathill and the grounds of Elmwood College.
5. Hopetoun Monument
- Distance: 9 miles
- Terrain: Roads, footpaths, and tracks.
Climb to the Hopetoun Monument for stunning views of the Lomond Hills and Eden Valley. This route also passes through Springfield and Cuparmuir.
6. Cuparmuir, Elmwood Farm, Springfield Wood, and Simpson Bridge
- Distance: 8.5 miles
- Terrain: Pavements, roads, and muddy tracks.
Walk along paths rich in industrial heritage, including Simpson Footbridge, built for mill workers in 1904.
7. Scotstarvit, Hill of Tarvit, and Ceres
