Fife has lots of affordable yet high-quality golf courses where you can enjoy great golf without breaking the bank.

Here are some of the best budget-friendly courses:

1. Lundin Golf Club, Lundin Links
A classic links course with a mix of links and parkland-style holes, offering stunning views over Largo Bay and challenging fairways.
Green Fees: Around £50–£90, but twilight rates offer great value.



2. Crail Golfing Society – Balcomie Links
One of the oldest golf clubs in the world, founded in 1786, it’s a beautiful traditional links course with coastal views.
Green Fees: £50–£80, with good offseason and twilight deals.



3. Elie Golf Club 
A unique, fun course with stunning sea views and a famous periscope on the first tee. Short but challenging, with fast fairways and undulating greens.
Green Fees: Around £70–£90, but cheaper offseason/twilight rates.



4. Anstruther Golf Club  
A hidden gem on the cliffs near Anstruther, offering spectacular coastal views, featuring “The Rockies” – one of Scotland’s toughest par 3s!
Green Fees: £20–£30, making it one of the best-value courses in Fife.



5. Burntisland Golf Club
Fife’s oldest golf club, dating back to 1797, Burntisland offers a mix of parkland and links elements, with great views over the Forth.
Green Fees: £30–£50, making it a great budget-friendly choice.



6. Kirkcaldy Golf Club 
A parkland course designed by Tom Morris, offering a different style of play. Think tree-lined fairways with good elevation changes for variety.
Green Fees: £30–£50.



7. Leven Links 
A historic links course, often used for Open qualifying, featuring undulating fairways, deep bunkers, and a tough closing hole.
Green Fees: £50–£80, but discounts are available in the offseason.
