East Neuk Beach Crafts embodies the joy of coastal living through a blend of handmade sea glass jewellery, pebble art and whimsical watercolours.
With a passion for beachcombing and a slight obsession with anything seaside-related, Louise Stocker transforms her sea-worn treasures into unique pieces of artwork and jewellery. The fragments of sea-tumbled Victorian-era sea glass and pottery become delicate sea glass pendants, earrings and bracelets, embellished with wire-work motifs and semi-precious gemstones. Each piece, sculpted from the tides, bears its own unique story.
During lockdown, Louise turned her hand to watercolours and loves to capture the fun and vibrancy of the East Neuk’s coastal charm and its lovable wildlife in her whimsical illustrations. Often described as ‘cute’, ‘colourful’ and ‘joyful’, she takes it as a huge compliment if her artwork makes people smile or laugh!
Her paintings are now available on a range of homeware and gifts such as prints, coasters, tea towels, jigsaws, mugs and more. Look out for popular local landmarks as well as the cute, feathered friends and sea creatures we are so lucky to share our coastline with.
