The Glasshouse was inspired by our passion to create beautiful spaces for all. We worked with local architects Muir Walker and Pride, and landscapers to create a stylish, accessible and sustainable property. Our architect’s design was influenced by the traditional Scottish longhouse. However this Scottish holiday home incorporates floor to ceiling glass windows allowing guests to take advantage of Fife’s breathtaking views.
Some of the key design features are:
Sharp zinc detailing around the huge glass windows. The quartz zinc is very sleek and stylish, a material we absolutely love.
Pocket doors were a firm favourite in this design. Nearly every door slides and disappears into the wall. This gives our guests more open space and light but when closed, the home still offers privacy and warmth.
At the centre point of the house you can look straight through the glass windows north, south, east and west. This gives you the feeling of space, light and panoramic views of the farm. Despite this, anyone passing by can’t see in due to the clever design.
Throw open the patio doors and step out to the perfect outdoor entertaining area. Soak up the sun on the lounge seating, cook up a feast on the charcoal BBQ or soak away your stresses in the hot tub!
