Kinghorn Town Hall is owned by Fife Historic Buildings Trust, a local Building Preservation Trust. It is a company limited by guarantee and has charitable status. It was formed in 1997 primarily for the purpose of saving and restoring historic buildings in Fife which are at risk. The Trust completed the restoration of the castellated and B-listed Kinghorn Town Hall in 2009. The first floor of the holiday apartment includes a magnificent living/dining area with three floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows and two original fireplaces. There is a well-equipped kitchen off this room. On the top floor, there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room which serves the smallest bedroom. Access to the top floor is either via a main front staircase or via a fascinating internal circular stone staircase. The apartment combines comfort with style and character. (Please note, there is no lift access). Guests have exclusive use of an attractive walled garden and there is a beautiful sheltered sandy beach close by. The nearby railway station provides easy rail access to Edinburgh and to the north. Other attractions include Fife's many golf courses and the historic towns of St Andrews, Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy. Bookings can be made by contacting the Fife Historic Buildings Trust: Email: info@fifehistoricbuildings.org.uk or Tel: 01592 890060.
