Walk in the footsteps of pilgrims on this 64 mile walking route.
If you've walked the Fife Coastal Path and loved that, you're sure to enjoy tackling this long-distance walking route. Starting your journey at Culross and North Queensferry, the 64 mile (104km) heads to St Andrews which was once Scotland’s holy hotspot.
The route takes in spectacular views of the Coast, Forth and Tay Estuaries and the Lomond Hills and passes medieval landmarks, industrial landscapes and historic picturesque villages.
One of the highlights is the City of Dunfermline where pilgrims were drawn to Dunfermline to visit St Margaret’s miraculous shrine within the magnificent Dunfermline Abbey.
The route uses Fife's existing network of rights of way, paths and tracks offering a variety of long distance, multi-day routes supplemented by shorter walks and circular routes.
