6 fun family Easter events in Fife

It's Easter weekend and there's so much going on in Fife. For a great family day out, check out these Easter events:

1 .

Culross Palace Easter Egg Trail

Visit Culross Palace and follow the trail, collect the clues, solve the puzzle and win your chocolatey reward! 

£4 per trail (no need to book).

Due to the old wooden beams within the Palace, numbers will be limited to 8 people (does not include children) to every 15 minutes from 10am until 4pm. Time slot can be booked on the day on arrival.

Easter at Teasses

A fun family day out awaits at the stunning Teasses Estate, one of Fife's hidden gems. Enjoy an: Easter egg hunt, decorate your own egg and much more!

Admission for this seasonal event: Adult £8.50 | Child (5-12 yrs) £4.50 | Under 5 FOC | Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) £25.00.

Last entrance 30 mins prior to closing time at the latest. Entry via main gates.

Easter at St Andrews Botanic Gardens

Head to the beautiful St Andrews Botanic Garndens for an egg-citing Easter Weekend on the 17th & 18th April. Explore the garden and learn all about real eggs with the family bird’s egg nature trail! You can also roll your Easter eggs in the Meadow.

The event is free for adults with garden entry and £3 per child, which includes a prize for completing the bird’s egg trail. No need to pre-book, just pay on arrival at the Gatehouse.

Craigtoun Easter Fayre

The perfect place for a family day out, enjoy free entry, free parking and free entertainment at the Craigtoun Easter Fayre. The Jolly Jigglers will be performing on the main stage on Saturday between 12 and 2 and on Sunday it will be Jamie the Jester's turn to entertain the crowds.

Sheila Kinninmonth will be telling stories in her Teepee in the Fairy Glen and Claddach Farm will be bringing along their alpacas and some other animals who all love to be petted.

Easter Egg Hunt at Dunimarle Castle

There could be no better place for an Egg Hunt, with acres of woodland, imposing castle towers and secret paths. It won’t be easy to find all the eggs, they’ll have to solve lots of fun clues and riddles along the way to make a word, and win some chocolate goodies.

For the under 4’s The Easter Bunny will arrive for a special egg-scramble in the Bastion at 2pm. In addition the Cake Cab will be in the courtyard offering delicious home baking, tray bakes and cheesecakes along with hot and cold drinks for sale.

Suitable for families with children of all ages. Children 3 and under ~ Free (no booking required) Children 4-16 ~ £3 Adults ~ Free (no booking required) Parking at the East or West Car Park in the village of Culross which is a short walk along the coastal path to the signposted entrance at the chapel gates.

Easter Fayre, Crail

Easter at the Crail Community Hall promises to be a great two day event for the whole family. Arts and craft stalls will be set up in the small and large halls and our popular cafe will be open again on both days. The kids can look forward to a treasure hunt, which will start and end at the Community Hall and will be full of exciting surprises on the way. Registration is at the hall between 11 am - 2 pm on both days, where the hunters will receive their instructions.

The wee ones should also get ready for their Easter painting competition. All paintings will be displayed in the hall where the prize giving will take place on Sunday at 3 pm. Remember the theme is "Spring". Every visitor to the Easter Fayre can vote for their favourite painting in each age group between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday.

Entry to the fayre is free. Fee for the treasure hunt is £1.
