Coming this March! Fife Food and Drink Week

Fife is home to some of the very best food and drink in Scotland, and this March we will be celebrating and showcasing our wonderful food and drink producers and businesses at the second Fife Food & Drink Week.

From 8th to 16th March there will be lots of tasty events such from special menus to markets, and talks and tastings at venues across the Kingdom. 

We'll be adding events over the next few weeks so keep checking our Food & Drink Week events listings

Here's a taste of what you'll be able to enjoy:

Stop by at Silverburn Park in Leven to enjoy the Cottage Window Cafe's limited taste Fife's best menu! You can enjoy 3 delicious products all made with locally sourced produce for just £10! 

Must Be Crackers in Dunfermline have an absolutely cracking offer during Fife Food & Drink Week! Enjoy Fife From Fife for £25 - five outstanding food products that have been produced in the Kingdom of Fife all presented together in a locally-printed cotton tote bag.

Indulge in a delightful 3-course seasonal lunch crafted with the finest local ingredients, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the beautifully landscaped gardens with the Mid Week Menu at Garvock House Hotel in Dunfermline. This is the perfect opportunity to experience Fife's rich culinary heritage in the elegant setting of Garvock House Hotel. Gather friends and family for an unforgettable dining experience! Available 10th to 12th March.

A busy day at Bowhouse Market. There are crowds of people browsing the market stalls. There is a large Bowhouse sign on the end wall.

The wonderful Bowhouse Market is back on the 8th and 9th of March with a great selection of Scottish food and drink traders. The Tea Green craft traders will be there too. keep an eye on their facebook page for the latest info.

Dunfermline City Artisan Market is back on 16th March in the beautiful Heritage Quarter. You'll find wonderful local produce including fresh, high-quality goods like jams, honey, and organic vegetables, plus delicious treats with an array of street food, baked goods, and artisanal beverages. Don't miss the handmade crafts too with unique items crafted by skilled artisans.

You'll find Culross Community Market at the green on Sundays throughout the year. Whether you're looking for unique gifts, tasty treats, or simply a great day out, the Culross Community Market has something for everyone.

Cupar Market brings together independent traders ofering fresh produce and food plus handmade crafts, homewares and more. The market has a focus on sustainability and a tree is planted for each market held by Trees for Life. The next one is on 15th March.

Calling all cocktail lovers! St Andrews Cocktail Week is back with 10 days of delicious cocktails at venues throughout the town. Whether you’re a fan of the classics, or looking for something more adventurous, there’s something for everyone. The week kicks off on 14th March.

Fife College's popular Food & Drink Festival is back with lots to enjoy for all the family! Featuring cooking demos, Kids’ cookery workshops, tastings and stalls, with the chance to buy some great local produce, wine-tasting, whisky masterclass, cocktail bar, street food vans and entertainment. 

Come along to the Larick Centre Foodie Market on 16th March for local food and drink traders showcasing the finest local food and drink products. There will be food workshops too and the chance to try out some fresh produce from PLANT our community garden. Why not pick up some food growing tips too?

Dive into the wonderful world of seaweed with Jason Byles at East Neuk Seaweed. There are two great events to chose from during Fife Food & Drink Week - the Spring Coastal Walk and Tasting Picnic on 8th March will give you an introduction to the fascinating world of seaweeds. You will also enjoy a curated tasting of pre-prepared seaweed snacks and dishes, showcasing this ocean bounty's surprisingly diverse flavours and textures. Or choose the On the Rocks Seaweed Experience on 16th March a guided foraging walk and a hands-on cooking experience where you'll be preparing a five-course tasting menu over an open fire, featuring freshly foraged seaweed and other locally sourced ingredients. 

Would you like to learn more about Whisky? Join the Whisky Tasting event at The Auld Hoose in Kinghorn on 8th March. Sample some exquisite malts, with chocolate pairings (optional) all from regions in Scotland guided by a knowledgeable host who will ensure a memorable experience. The event will enhance your knowledge and with a bit of fun flung in as well!

There's another unique Whisky event at Kingsbarns Distillery who have teamed up with chef Julien at XO Catering to match up their award-winning whiskies with delicious locally-inspired canapés for their Whisky and Food-Pairing Tour. During this special tour round the distillery, you will sample 5 different whiskies alongside 5 specially created delicacies. 

Parisian Cafe Music is coming back to Crail! Les Trois Blondes are the only band in Scotland specialising in Bal Musette, the French café music of Paris and they will be bringing their talents to Crail for a delightful afternoon on 16th March. Dress up, bring baguette, cheese and wine and make it a truly French afternoon!

Kellie Castle near Pittenweem reopens for the season on 15th March. You can discover the castle and immerse yourself in the detail of the Lorimer family and their influence on the castle, visit the walled garden which is springing into life and of course visit the tea room! The tea room has a new feel this season with a varied menu with options to suit everyone or why not  'Pick Up A Picnic' offer from the welcome shop to enjoy on a woodland walk, around the grounds or in the meadow.

Cheltenham Gold cup comes to Fife! come and enjoy a Cheltenham Races Hospitality Experience at Pratis Barns. Watch all the days' racing live from Cheltenham with your hsopitality package including a complimentary welcome drink and a fabulous three course lunch.

Come and watch all three matches in the Six Nations Super Saturday at Pratis Barns on a 12ft screen. Enjoy Enjoy delicious food from the grill and wood fired oven. Keep all the family happy with our dedicated children's area with games and movies. Dance the night away with live music from The Frets and don't miss Scotland rugby stars Chris Fusaro, Al Kellock, Jon Welsh and Duncan Weir joining us for Q&A sessions, match analysis, and much more.
