The Jubilee Course opened in 1897, the year of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. Originally intended for use by ladies and beginners, after several redesigns over the years, the Jubilee is now a highly regarded Championship Course which demands skill, patience – and respect.
As expected of a St Andrews Links’ course, the Jubilee is in excellent condition. Featuring narrow, unforgiving fairways, potentially-hazardous bunkers and a series of challenging Par 4s, the Jubilee always fulfils its promise: a testing but highly-enjoyable game in the Home of Golf.
Aim between the two fairways bunkers. An approach from the right side of the fairway allows a running shot into the putting surface. Be careful of the hidden bunker behind the green.
