With impressive views of the Ochil and Lomond Hills, Lochgelly Golf Club’s challenging course is ideal for all handicaps, including novice golfers. The Club is renowned for the warm welcome provided to visiting golfers – both on the course and in the clubhouse, where the restaurant offers ‘hearty’ fare – exactly what’s required at the end of a good day’s golfing.
Your round begins with a relatively short par 5, although, with a lateral water hazard and two fairway bunkers within reach off the tee, it’s not to be taken lightly, and careful shot placement is key.
Staying left when approaching the green will give you the best angle to set up a birdie putt, and will steer you away from the two greenside bunkers.
