As befits a course in one of Scotland’s 1960s’ New Towns, Glenrothes Golf Course opened in 1967, just as many of the residents were moving in.
Occupying a prominent position on the high ground to the west of Glenrothes, the course is kept in excellent condition throughout the season and is ideal for a game of golf all year round. The wide fairways offer plenty of opportunities for long hitters while the well-maintained greens allow birdie opportunities to those with a good short game.
