This challenging, cliff-top golf course features sweeping fairways, expansive greens and ominous bunkers.
Designed in 1998 by world-renowned course architect Gil Hanse to provide golfers with a true test of their links golf skills while also making the most of Craighead’s stunning panoramic sea views over the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May and the Bass Rock, the course is intersected by Danes Dyke. This medieval stone wall was built by invading Vikings to keep out the local Pictish tribes and is now a reminder of this corner of the Kingdom of Fife’s pre-golf past.
Keep your drive right of the bunkers on the dog leg. When approaching the green there is a pot bunker situated in the middle, the right side of the green will yield the best result.
