Auchterderran is an interesting course in the heart of the Home of Golf that opened to great acclaim in 1904.

Auchterderran Golf Course is located in the forming mining village of Cardenden and once provided local miners with a welcome diversion from working in the pit. Today, this charming course remains an important part of Cardenden life, with the course priding itself on the warm and friendly welcome awaiting local and visiting golfers. 

Auchterderran is suitable for beginners and experienced golfers, who can play the course as either 9 or 18 holes.
