As part of its fortieth anniversary celebrations, the Griselda Hill Pottery is delighted to be able to share the long guarded techniques of creating the iconic Wemyss Ware in a demonstration at the Fife Folk Museum.  Visitors will be encouraged to question the potter and painters in this interactive demonstration.Wemyss Ware was first produced in Fife in 1882, and is Scotland’s most famous and collectable pottery.  It was revived in Ceres, Fife, in 1985 by the Griselda Hill Pottery Ltd.  The pottery is all hand painted using traditional techniques.
