We are excited to welcome visitors to the opening weekend of our 2025 season. We offer a wonderful experience for all our visitors. You can tour the castle and immerse yourself in the detail of the Lorimer family and their influence on the castle as well as admiring the artwork of John Henry Lorimer.
The walled garden is springing into life and showing glimmers of the colour it will flourish into as the season progresses.
Our tea room has a new feel this season with a varied menu and options to suit the needs of all the family. If you'd like a tasty hot soup with a scone, maybe a quick snack with a cold drink or perhaps one of freshly ground coffees with a delicious cake, we offer it all.
We also launch our 'Pick Up A Picnic' offer from the welcome shop if you'd prefer to take your chosen food option outdoors to enjoy our woodland walk or take a seat at one of our benches around the grounds or in the meadow.
