This is the personal story of Dougie Donnelly, one of Scotland's most successful and best loved broadcasters. He spent of 32 years with teh BBC as a presenter on Grandstand and Sportscene, as well as commentating on Great Britain winning the women's golf medal at curling at the Winter Olympics!
Donnelly has presented Scotland playing in football World Cups and European Championships, a Scottish club in a European Final, Europe winning the Ryder and Solheim Cups and a Scottish golfer winning a Major. His autobiography is now available and he will be joining us to share stories from his career and answer questions from the audience. The book will be available to purchase on the night.
The lecture will take place in the museum galleries, with doors opening from 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Tea and coffee will be available.
