The Royal Naval Air Station Crail, HMS Jackdaw, opened in 1940 and ceased naval flying in 1947 when it was placed in reserve.  Commander David Hobbs will briefly describe the flying tasks carried out there and will then talk about the 16 types of naval aircraft that flew from Crail.
