The first two and a half miles of the final section of the Fife Coastal Path is a gentle walk along to the northern banks of the Tay. However, that changes after Balmerino Abbey, when the path gradually gets steeper as it approaches the top of Normans Law, closely followed by a climb up the slopes of Glenduckie Hill. Thankfully, the views from both vantage points are worth all the effort!
The track then winds its way down to Newburgh and the end of the 117-mile-long Fife Coastal Path. Why not treat yourself to a tour of Lindores Abbey Distillery – and a sample of the monks’ legendary dram - as a reward?
