The evening will consist of caddie tales, tall and true, lovingly gathered over 30 years by David. Recalled by his family, friends and current caddies working the Links. All honouring his dream of ‘The Book’.
This event will look at the research carried out by David Coyne, which highlights the rich history and humor of caddies at the legendary Old Course in St Andrews. Members of David's family and his friends who have helped finish the project after David's death will be present to share his story. Caddies who feature in the book will also be here to reminisce about their time on the Links.
Rather than a lecture, this is designed to be an informal reminiscence Q&A session, where everyone will be able to contribute. Books will be available to purchase and signed by book designer Chic Harper. Doors Open from 6.30pm, with refreshments available. Event starts 7pm.
